Xero Training and Resources
Here’s our three step quick start guide to accompany the Xero TV videos at www.tv.xero.com
#1 Connect bank feeds from your bank account. It’s easy and it only takes a few minutes plus the benefits are huge. Because your bank statement lines are brought into Xero automatically, it’s practically effortless to keep your account accurate and up-to-date.
#2 Add your organisations details and customise your invoices by simply uploading your business logo. Add a payment service so your customers can easily pay your invoices online by just clicking pay now.
You can now start processing transactions and invoicing your customers anywhere and anytime.
#3 Customise the chart of accounts to get your accounting right as you move forward. You might need to make a few simple changes to the default chart to customise it to suit your business – but that’s easy.
Importing your own chart of accounts. If you are importing a chart of accounts from your old system, you will want to set aside some extra time to do this. It’s very easy to do and help is at hand. In Xero, simply click on the question mark on the top right hand side of the screen to get additional help.
That said, you can import your chart along with opening balances straight into Xero by using the Zero template. Watch the video tutorials or visit www.tv.xero.com[/text_block]
